I am so lucky to have these angels in my life. Friendship means so much to me. Moving to Texas a year ago and having no friends was hard but looking at where I’m at now I know it was all meant to be. I’ve been praying for a community like this. You all feel like home and I can’t believe if it wasn’t for me moving we wouldn’t have met. My life is better because of all of you !!!

It’s the last hour of the work day for folks on the west coast, which feels like an appropriate time to salute our own @dev.onpurpose , our master of night life, of colorful creations, of unforgettable ritual, celebration, and though she describes others in this light, she truly is, in her own right, epic.

A commitment 18 years in the making.
More than half my life.
It’s been a bit of time since I crafted a post and I think it’s because I’ve been just really WITH all that’s been taking place over the past few months.
After 4 years of being engaged, 2 wedding venue changes and one power outage… @leejohn_music and I said YES to forever together on February 23rd, our 18 year anniversary.
If there’s anything our relationship represents, it’s devotion. Showing up, together, even things don’t go according to plan. Choosing each other through every season and this most recent has been one of the most profound of our lives.
On February 16th, exactly one week before our wedding and on the final day of the year of the snake, our beloved sis Janelle took her final breath.
Janelle was pure magic…she collapsed time and birthed visions into reality. In the Dojo, she was both star and sister, and in her passing, she taught us how closely joy and grief can dance.
At the wedding, moments after we shared our vows, we gathered at the altar to honor her and Iceberg (see photo 2). I felt both these angels with us…two loving witnesses gently reminding us to celebrate fully while we’re here.
To love deeply.
To choose life and feel the gratitude for every breath.
And as I write this, it’s the eve of my HUSBAND’s birthday.
My partner in love, music, fitness, creativity and everything this life has to offer. I’m so grateful I get to keep saying yes to you forever. Happy almost birthday.
To Janelle, Star Sister, your magic continues to ripple through all of us.
To Iceberg, I feel u every day and I love you forever.
I could never sum up the last few months in one post, but there’s a bit of a snap shot. Thanks for being with me on this journey.

Los Angeles will always have a special place in my heart, and it’s all due to the people I call friends there.
My heart is so full. Incredibly grateful to every single person who took the time to meet with me or see me.
It was bittersweet to leave.
I carry you with me.

Some people come into this earthly form
and remain at the shoreline of their lives -
ankle deep in the shallows, studying the horizon.
They speak often of someday.
They trace the outlines of the unknown,
But never dare to dive in.
They contemplate what life might give them,
While standing where the water barely moves.
Others come in blazing hot, like a supernova
Radiant and impossible to ignore.
Carrying the energy of a million stars,
condensed into one human body,
far too small to contain it.
And so they do not skim the surface of existence -
they ignite it.
Plunging into the deepest waters of love, grief, questioning,
and a fierce commitment to truth.
Shining through existence without restraint.
While some stars stretch their light across billions of years…
Others will burn bright, and intensely,
compressing lifetimes of depth
into only a handful of seasons.

Just on the corner of Orange & Sixth sat a house that was waiting to greet you.
Seekers, and doers, and dancers, and dreamers – it was such a great honor to meet you!
If adventure or wonder you were searching to find, or you were longing for a luscious place to rest and unwind — it all lived here, on the inside!
We designed every detail with YOU in mind!
Each special room was ready to embrace what you were feeling.
We had curious spaces for laughing and learning and the coziest spaces for healing!
You could take a class or clink a glass or do something that made your heart sing —
Within lantern-lined halls twinkling on whimsical walls where the dragonflies danced on the ceiling!
You took the road less traveled by and so lead you here,
Whatever was known within your soul, this house became your mirror.
We laid down our fears, and had some fun — it was all so fantastic!
