It’s been a busy year so far, but I’ve been able to squeeze in some creative time❤️ From cooking to sewing, tinkering on my iPad and organizing my crafts, it’s been a good first quarter👏🏽

Shopping for convenience is something we do a lot don’t get me wrong, but when we have the time it’s so fun to take the long way.
The reward is something thats just as healthy (if not healthier since you’re skipping the additives), less plastic (this is huge ♻️), and cheaper (much)!
For these fruit smoothies I used:
- 1 cup Greek yogurt (approx 20g protein)
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup frozen berries of choice
- 1 tsp honey for sweetness
- optional to add extra protein powder (I didn’t do this tho)
We will probably swap between buying ready and making at home based on how our weeks look. But this is a fun and easy option for when you have the extra time ❤️

What’s a girls camping trip without a craft?!?!
We tried out anthotype printing (aka sun printing) up in the mountains and it was so simple and fun🫶🏾 we followed a recipe from @sierradavis_daily and it turned out to be a success!!!
You’ll need:
- watercolor paper
- rubbing alcohol
- tumeric
- water
- baking soda
- leaves and flowers
- the sunnnn!!!!

My second crochet project is complete and it’s a baby blanket for my cousin’s little princess💕
“Masi” means mom’s sister, which is a title I am so proud and honored to have :’)
I used the @bernatyarn baby blanket yarn in pink (main part) and Teal Stream (border) with a 8mm crochet hook.
For the scalloped edge, I followed @mooglyblog YouTube video and it was super beginner friendly👏🏽
My favorite touch is the custom “made by Masi label made with my @cricut

Nothing compares to fabric shopping in India.
I visited this past December knowing I’d be starting my sewing journey soon after coming back, so of course I stocked up on textiles from the motherland.
As a beginner, I stayed in the realm of cotton and picked up some Warli print, two kalamkari block prints, and my favorite,bandhani print. I got these all from a small shop in Baroda🫶🏾
Saving these for when my skills catch up to the vision, but I’ll admire them on my shelf for now 🥹✨

Here is my Crafty Bingo Card for 2026😊 I had so much fun with this last year and am so excited for all the fun projects, recipes, and creative endeavors to come this year.
My main goal every year is to make time for little things like this that spark joy and celebrate the inner child in me… for the little girl who spent hours making jewelery holders out of bulletins boards and push pins, wall decor out of cardboard and paint, purses and wallets out of duct tape, and many other random things where trash magically turned into my greatest treasures.
