DESIGN DISTRICT
Open Studios is one of the most important parts of Design Vancouver Festival. It invites the public into Vancouver’s design community through studio visits, conversation, and behind-the-scenes access to practice.
This year, Open Studios will run as Design District Days. Studios are grouped by neighbourhood on dedicated days to make visits easier to plan, more walkable, and more connected.
OPEN STUDIOS: DESIGN DISTRICT SCHEDULE
• Armoury / Railtown / Other: Sat, Sept 19 | 10am–4pm
• Granville Island: Sun, Sept 20 | 10am–4pm
• Downtown / Gastown: Fri, Sept 25 | 3pm–7pm
• Mount Pleasant: Sat, Sept 26 | 10am–4pm
Studios, showrooms, schools, and community partners come together by district, creating shared visibility and a stronger sense of community.

It was an honor to be recognized among such an inspiring group of leaders. Thank you, @vancouvermagazine
I want to extend my gratitude to everyone who has supported @pechakuchavancouver and @designvanfest — two platforms that celebrate creativity, spark dialogue, and bring our community together through the power of design and storytelling. Producing these events is a labor of love, and I’m so grateful for the designers, speakers, volunteers, partners, and audiences who make them possible.
This recognition is for the entire creative community that continues to push boundaries and shape Vancouver’s cultural landscape. I’m excited for what’s ahead, and I look forward to continuing to build spaces where ideas can flourish and connections can thrive.
Thank you again! Becki
Wishing you a joyful holiday season! The @designvanfest team thanks you for being part of our journey, and we look forward to reconnecting in the new year.
