25 years ago, Dan the Automator, Del the Funky Homosapien, and Kid Koala released their debut album as Deltron 3030.
Today, they played a sold out anniversary show at Webster Hall and performed the album in its entirety. Such a good time.

Last night was the first of three nights of Not For Radio at Kings Theatre, on the Winter In The Garden Tour. My first show of the year, and an incredible one.
Last night was magical.
I first saw Janelle Monáe in 2013 at The Apollo. Since then, I've always hoped for an opportunity to photograph one of her performances, and it has always eluded me—until now.
Me in 2013 wouldn't have believed something like this could happen, and I'm not even sure I fully believe it now, but there it is. There was so much warm energy and joy, and it was a privilege to make these images—some of my favorite of the year.
Janelle Monáe closing out All Things Go at Forest Hills Stadium. Wow.
After a longer break than I had originally planned, I've put out a new video! This one is talking through some prints that I got of my photos. The struggle to point out the things I wish you'd notice continues. Head to my bio to find the channel link.
I don't even remember when I started these rolls, but they're all several years old. I wasn't working so I couldn't afford to develop anything and wasn't motivated to even finish the rolls.
I was borrowing a friend's Leica M2, and I had no idea how to rewind it...which is how I ended up with a mostly ruined roll there.
Shots are from @icp Ă— @photodom.nyc walks, and one from a @jbrekkie set in 2021.
Light leak shots were on Fuji Pro 400H, others were on Kodak Ektar 100, pushed a stop.
This year, I've spent a lot of time thinking about where my work fits, and what spaces I occupy as an artist. I've been a visitor, but I don't know if anywhere really feels like home. I guess that's also why I've been trying to build one from scratch.
I've been trying to seek those conversations out, and I suppose that's because deep down, I really want nurturing. Water and sunlight.
These posts, the videos, the newsletter, making prints; they're all my way of showing that I have something to say that's more than the trend of the moment. It means fewer people will notice, but I'm hoping that the ones who find me will be happy they did.
After years of saying I should try to learn studio lighting, I'm actually trying to learn it.

I'll be looking forward to making fewer mistakes and being more comfortable soon!
Last month, I got to do something a little different. I took my camera into a rage room while @girlimusic met with fans and smashed things. Featured in @papermagazine in their PAPER Diaries section.
