so extremely grateful and humbled to have had the opportunity to be the director of photography for this season of Dimension 20: Never Stop Blowing Up!! 💥🤯 what an exciting time to be able to add some fun new things in addition to the projections we surround the dome with. first and only time I've ever had a dedicated parking spot in my life! how you know you've made it (and by it, I mean explosions)
don't often get to see pictures of me while I'm working - it's wild getting to see myself pop up in the behind the scenes footage, and get a chance to talk about the projections! might be the only actual images of me in the dome, despite how much time I have spent there... FHJY crew behind the scenes is live on dropout!
At long last, after much questing, avoiding of mimics, slaying of dragons, and petting of owlbears... The Twenty-Sided Tavern is now open!!

This has been a crazy process of diving deep into the Forgotten Realms and getting to bring locations from within the city of Waterdeep to life, along with all of the crazy button push combat effects and wild dynamic interactivity that makes doing something improvised with technology so unique and engaging. Forever thankful to all of the absolutely amazing and wonderful artists who helped bring every bit of this beautiful world to life! Can't wait for y'all to step inside.

a last bit of burrow's end puppet bts - the tape player! those blue marks on the back of the reels were added by @dont_do_a_bit to help us keep the same pace, so I could find a cut point to loop the video! we sat there spinning them for about two minutes each take, just chatting
more behind the stoats of the last bast shadow puppet projection!! you can see we monitored the debris set dressing while arranging the random things we found from home depot and thought would look good, as well as the technique we used for the light reveal, using grooves cut into cardstock to slowly expand the light source! the set is very sharp and also still very in my garage

it was so much fun working on such an important story, and all of the ghosts and magic and memories that came with it. super happy with how it turned out. already onto new projects, so more coming soon!
