We checked all the things off my meticulous itinerary, found all the eats on our Japanese food scavenger hunt, and made some fantastic memories with the kids. Until next time Japan!
🇯🇵
Back in 2008, John and I traveled to Tokyo for a friend‘s wedding. Our first big trip as a couple, it felt so exciting and challenging to navigate this enormous city.
It is amazing to be back, so many adventures later, with two excited boys in tow! 🇯🇵🍣🥢⛩️🍡🌸
We weren’t exactly roughing it, with a fireplace and stocked pantry, but a lot of hardcore skiers and Crystal employees were braving treacherous roads, sleeping in vans and off the grid cabins, all for this crazy late season snow event. ⛷️
A perfect week in Los Cabos. Our very first time in Mexico, between the delicious food, humpback whales swimming right by the beach, and getting over my college induced aversion to tequila, it is not hard to fall in love 🇲🇽
The country becoming unrecognizable, watching people get executed by paramilitary while we drive our children to school, Seattle with the most beautiful weather and the Seahawks make the Super Bowl, waiting for the next terrible headline and posting on Insta while our fascist president is tweeting nonsense. This is America I guess.
Our annual “Gulasch & Glühwein” party kicking off the Christmas season! As usual a whirlwind of testing my cooking skills, wine, great company, and barely time for pictures.
Hosting is my love language 😆🍷👩🍳
Wonderful thanksgiving week up here at Big Sky, the whole family crushed the two open lifts, and enjoyed all the fancy hotel bars 😆 feeling grateful to have married into a ski family ⛷️💙❄️
