Congratulations to @dellmedschool newest graduates: 40 new physicians ready to help shape the future of health care. Half of the class will continue their training in Texas, including 10 at Dell Medical School, while the other half matched into residency programs across the country. Eleven graduates are entering primary care, strengthening the physician workforce in one of the areas of greatest need. As Austin enters a new era in health care with the newly announced UT Dell Medical Center, this graduating class joins a generation of physicians redefining how care is delivered, connected and experienced. Congratulations, graduates. 🎓🤘

For more than 25 years, Michael and Susan Dell have believed that potential is everywhere, even when opportunity is not.    A first-generation college student earns a degree and changes the trajectory of their family’s future. A young person gains career training that opens the door to a meaningful job. A family finds stability through safe housing, health care, and support in their community.  These are the people and stories that have shaped the work of the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation - expanding access to education, economic opportunity, and better health outcomes for children and families around the world. We are honored to celebrate Michael and Susan’s recognition on the TIME100 Philanthropy list and their continued commitment to creating opportunity for millions of families. @rlabsza 's @rechacoza program is helping young adults in South Africa start and grow recycling businesses that generate income and create jobs in their communities. So far, these businesses have created 365 jobs and enabled 1,900 local collectors to earn income. For Keenan, it started after a fire destroyed his home. He joined the program to rebuild. What began as a way to earn income has turned into a business. Today, he runs Lala’s Recycling in Cape Town, earning steady income and creating jobs in his community. “I’ve always believed in the power of second chances, for people – and for materials others consider waste.”

What if you could design a health system from the ground up? That’s the question UT and UT System leaders explored today. That’s the opportunity in front of us, with Dell Medical School as its anchor. This moment brings together the strength of @utaustintx , the integration of @mdandersoncancercenter , and a unique opportunity to build differently — around patients, not systems. Technology will enable that vision, helping care become more connected, proactive and continuous. A transformational investment from @dellfoundation accelerates our work to design a new kind of academic medical center. One that’s patient-centered, AI-native and built to integrate care, research and education from the ground up. This is how we move beyond improving the system we have and start building the one we need.

UT Austin is a place where ideas that start in a dorm room turn into so much more — powered by talent, research, and a willingness to build. That’s the Austin story. And that’s the Michael Dell and Dell Technologies story. It’s also a key part of why Michael and Susan Dell are making a $750 million commitment to @utaustintx , bringing their lifetime giving to The University of Texas to more than $1 billion. This new investment will support the establishment of the new UT Dell Campus for Advanced Research and the new UT Dell Medical Center to advance human health. It will also provide significant support for undergraduate student scholarships, student housing and UT’s Texas Advanced Computing Center, one of the leading supercomputing research centers in the nation. This is a direct investment in how people live — helping more people get better care sooner, opening pathways for students into high-demand fields like science, AI, and health, and contributing to a stronger, more dynamic economy and a thriving life sciences hub in Austin. April is Financial Literacy Month, and that means it's time to talk about one of the most important skills we can give our kids. 🎉 Financial literacy is knowing how to earn, save, spend, and grow money while making smart decisions every step of the way. @investamerica24 is expanding access to investment accounts backed by U.S. Treasury, so more children can start building those skills early. Here's how these accounts make a difference: ✔️ Build habits early: Kids can learn how to save, how money grows, and how to plan ahead. ✔️ Hands-on learning: Families can track progress with real money, helping them understand how investing works. ✔️ Expand access: Claiming an account is simple, so more families can start investing without obstacles. When children have both the knowledge and experience of managing money, they're set up to make smarter choices for life. This year, every American child receives one of these accounts. Millions will receive $250 to get started. Does your child qualify? Find out at the link in our bio. #FinancialLiteracyMonth #FinancialLiteracy

Apex Education is driving strong academic results for students in South Africa by pairing great teaching with technology in the classroom. Teachers see student progress in real time, so they can quickly identify where students need more support and focus their time where it matters most. Apex students are matching or outperforming peers in well-resourced schools, while this approach delivers results at about half the cost. Watch how it works. #education #edtech

@dell_childrens is now home to one of the most advanced tools in pediatric brain surgery: an intraoperative MRI suite, available at only a small number of children’s hospitals in the U.S. Built directly into the operating room, the MRI provides real-time images during surgery without moving the patient. With this capability, neurosurgeons like Dr. Elias Rizk, co-chief for UT Health Austin Pediatric Neurosciences at Dell Children’s and professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at @dellmedschool , can adjust in the moment and complete more of the work in a single procedure. For families, it means safer, more streamlined care right here in Austin, where world-class clinicians and cutting-edge technology come together to help children heal and move forward.
