I am incredibly excited to announce that a 15-minute excerpt from my new full-length stage play, THE UNSEEN CANVAS, is being presented alongside 10 other playwrights from the 2025 Master Playwrights Retreat at La MaMa Umbria (Spoleto, Italy). 🇮🇹✨
THE STORY:
In a claustrophobic apartment, a veteran’s violent PTSD collides with her family’s desperate secrets. When an uninvited artist discovers a hidden talent within the wreckage, the Alvarez family must decide if the art that saves the mother will be the very thing that destroys the home.
This presentation is part of “UNDER THE UMBRIAN SUN,” a reading series featuring scenes created in the heart of Italy.
