Meet Theia II💚💚
Theia II is the 10th and newest design from Delft Hyperloop engineered to maximize endurance and enable cargo transport.
This iteration features a completely redesigned thermal system, optimizing performance and durability. In addition, Theia II is equipped with a newly developed 4-motor drive system, with two motors on each side.
For the first time, our prototype is capable of transporting cargo, thanks to the newly designed Cargo Operating System (COS) and a fully redesigned chassis.
With the design phase completed, we are now entering the testing phase of Theia II stay tuned for what’s next.

Recap of our Design Reveal💚💚
On Thursday, March 12, we proudly presented our latest Hyperloop design THEIA II at the Nieuwe Kerk. During the evening, we unveiled not only the design itself, but also our working prototype.
With THEIA II, our goal is clear to become the first student team to successfully transport cargo during European Hyperloop Week 2026. At the same time, we are focused on significantly improving the endurance and reliability of our pod.
We look back on this night with great pride and excitement. It marked an important milestone, where our team accelerated both the design and manufacturing phases, allowing more time for what matters most, testing.
Now, we move forward with strong motivation 💪towards our next milestone the Demonstration Day on June 4, where we will showcase THEIA II to the world.

THIS IS THEIA II
We proudly present our newest Hyperloop design THEIA II.
Last night, we unveiled the pod during our Design Reveal at the Nieuwe Kerk in Delft.
With THEIA II, our goal is to become the first student team to successfully transport cargo during European Hyperloop Week 2026. By transporting a standardized Euro pallet, we aim to show that Hyperloop is not just a theoretical concept, but a realistic and scalable logistics solution for the near future.
At the same time, we are working to significantly improve the endurance and reliability of our pod. By focusing on long-duration operation and advanced thermal management, we aim to demonstrate that Hyperloop systems can operate safely and consistently under realistic conditions.
Want to help build the future of Hyperloop? Applications for next year’s team are still open.
Big thanks to @koen.de_haan en @mart.eibrink for filming and editing the video.

DELFT HYPERLOOP WEEK @nemosciencemuseum 💚
During the May holiday, we organised two workshops a day for seven days at NEMO Science Museum to inspire the next generation👷♀️👷 about technology through the world of hyperloop.
We started each workshop with an interactive presentation, explaining hyperloop technology in a simple and engaging way, followed by questions from the audience. It was amazing to see how curious and sharp the younger generation is.
We received questions like: 💭 “How can you breathe inside a vacuum tube?” 💭 “How can the hyperloop make turns when it moves so fast?”
The workshop ended with self-made magnetic experiments, where children could test different hyperloop principles themselves learning about magnetic levitation, electromotors, and friction in a fun and interactive way.
It was a very successful week, and a big thank you to @nemosciencemuseum for making it all possible!
Interested in what is next? Don’t forget to visit the Hyperloop Xperience on 11 June at the Delft campus‼️‼️

MONTHLY MILESTONE APRIL💚💚
April was all about progress, testing, and sharing our passion for technology.
The final components of THEIA II were assembled🛠️🛠️, marking the beginning of an exciting new phase testing!!
Thanks to an upgrade from STUD, our tent setup became smoother and more efficient, helping the team prepare for the next steps. Meanwhile, our propulsion engineers achieved a major breakthrough by getting the new motor up and running🙌!!
But April wasn’t only about engineering.
During the May holiday, we organised a Hyperloop Week at the NEMO Science Museum Through interactive presentations and hands-on magnetism workshops, we inspired the next generation 👷♀️👷 to explore the world of technology and innovation.
And while looking back on an incredible month, we’re already preparing for what’s next
The Hyperloop Xperience on June 11th‼️‼️

Recap of our Delft Hyperloop week @nemosciencemuseum 🙌🙌
During the May holidays, we organized 7 days of workshops at the NEMO Science Museum in Amsterdam.
During the day, we hosted 2 workshops. Each workshop started with an interactive presentation in which we explained Hyperloop technology in a very simple way, using easy examples about magnetic levitation🧲 and resistance.
After the presentation, it was time to really experiment with this technology. We developed 5 different experiments ourselves, all centered around Hyperloop technology.
It was a really nice week in which we hopefully made the younger generation more enthusiastic about technology👷♀️👷. A big thank you to NEMO Science Museum for making this memorable week possible.
Now we are focusing on our next big highlight: the Hyperloop Xperience, where testing is now our number one priority.
