Will always remember midnight of December 14 2014 hitting and sitting for hours through that night listening to Black Messiah on repeat, completely in awe of another newly defined sound from him. The first time in high school digging into Voodoo. The international train trips in college into and out of Germany with his records pouring through my headphones. Seeing him and the Vanguard at The Tabernacle in Atlanta and being completely transfixed at what was likely the best concert of my life.
