POSTPONED PERFORMANCE dear humanbean In reaction to the recent improvisations of our longtime collaborator, the weather, we will have to postpone our upcoming landing this Friday May 15 & Saturday May 16 at @dekoergent with @viernulvier.gent . Due to the effect of rain or wind on humanbeans, we won’t be able to bring to life the experience we were planning. We have already been gently parasiting de Koer for quite a while, so we are still eager to share these traces with you another time soon. Nonetheless we strongly encourage you to wander through BOM-festival, that turns the Brugse Poort neighborhood into one big showcase parcours. We’re lighting up the oven again! 🔥🥖 On Thursday 30.04 vuurmeester Eline will introduce us to the mobile oven of de Koer. From the very basics to the more refined baking skills, we’ll fire up the oven and spend the afternoon baking away. Everyone is welcome to join the baking adventure or just to drop by and taste the atmosphere. Enthusiasts who are keen to experiment further with the oven can join the creative process of @spa_for_spirits . Their performance ‘The Hungry Heart’ takes place in de Koer during BOMfestival on 15.05 & 16.06. 👉 This baking atelier is part of the Local Growth project. From 23 April to 29 May, Eye On Palestine will be taking place in Ghent again! @eop.be 📢🇵🇸 During this multidisciplinary festival, a collaboration between cultural organisations and civil society groups from Ghent, the Palestinian issue will be examined in depth. Spring is in the air and new projects are boiling in the kitchen team of de Koer! 🥗 🙌 On Sunday 26.04 they are organising a cooking workshop for children as part of the 'Local Growth' project. In a fun and playful way, the children will explore which vegetables are in season and what tasty dishes we can create with them. Parents are welcome to come and taste the results.
