It’s always a special moment to look back at the path taken and see how the eye sharpens and the technique settles in, project after project. This showreel brings together animation and motion design pieces that are particularly close to my heart, with a big level up this year thanks to international festival selections:
@sxsw (Best Music Video),
@berlinmusicvideoawards (Silver Screenings),
@britisharrows (Best Animation), Shiny Awards (Shiny List), as well as in France with the Festival National du Film d’Animation (Clips Section).
On the press side, I had the joy of seeing my work featured in leading creative industry publications such as
@motionographerpro ,
@itsnicethat ,
@promonews and
@blind.magazine , and of taking part in my first podcast interview for
@frinightmovie
💡 It’s also the perfect occasion to thank all the people I’ve collaborated with for their trust and, often, for giving me total creative freedom. Heather Sheret at
@k7.music and
@tomexcell for
@nubiyantwist Twist’s music video Lights Out featuring Nile Rodgers, which allowed me to grow as an animation director.
@sophiemarielarrouy Larrouy for the limitless teasers of À la recherche du thon à la catalane, Laurent Ong for the explainer film “C’est quoi l’Université”, awarded a
@motiondesignawards (proof that corporate projects can also be creative!). Thank you Henry Hobson and manija emran for commissioning the feature film animated intro for
@riolunafilms ,
@novaprod__ and
@camilletoulme for their trust with the precious footage of Tête de Mules, a France TV Slash documentary.
Thanks as well to
@arunningcommentary_ for their support from the UK and
@premierdegre.tv who recently included me to their new director roster.
@angipongi ,
@kham.mov my precious creative partners.
And of course, thank you to everyone who makes everyday life softer and more inspiring:
@studioouam ,
@studio_9p ,
@plutotdotcool ,
@julienperron_art for your thoughtful advice, and all the other partners along the way.
