There was only one person my son wanted me to meet at the #Time100 celebration and unfortunately I blew it.
I was so happy to be invited by @time CEO Jessica Sibley and I was personally there to see António Guterres and @victoriabeckham — social justice and culture are my thing.
My son had a very different shortlist. For him and the 484 million people who follow him. That person was Mr Beast.
Completely different definitions of who matters and why. And that is the conversation!
Influence, legacy and how women build, sustain and wield it on their own terms is what’s on my mind and one we’re going deep on at #TheNewGuardSummit next week.

I’ve never been one for surface conversation. Yes I go to a few things that look shiny on the outside but I always want to know how people truly are, what they’re working on, where they need help.
This @lancomeofficial Absolue Longevity MD gala dinner felt particularly alive. Perhaps the health and longevity theme added a poignancy and thoughtfulness. Perhaps it was @zoesaldana reminding us to look in the mirror and love what we see first.
