A meaningful discussion on housing access and homelessness in Paris.💙 We were grateful to hear insights from Professor Marco Cremaschi - Sciences Po professor and urban studies specialist focused on urban development, migration, and city policy; Professor Danuta Pieter-Sciences Po professor, philanthropist and social-impact leader, with experience in health, innovation, and nonprofit work in Paris; Lucie Larrere from Règles Élémentaires; Coraline Martin from l’un Est L'autre; and from Serve the City Paris we had the privilege to welcome Mari Elena - Food Distribution Coordinator and Zuzanna Houjeiri - Project and Resource Manager. Big thank you to everyone who joined us last week for the panel discussion on housing access and homelessness in Paris. We brought together researchers, policymakers, and civil society members to discuss one of the most pressing challenges facing European cities today. The conversation explored how these issues unfold in practice, from structural barriers in housing systems to frontline service provision. The discussion was followed by an engaging Q&A, with thoughtful contributions from the audience, and continued conversations over refreshments. This event was organised by CareKit, a student-led initiative between students from Central European University, Sciences Po and IE University with support from the CIVICA Student Engagement Fund and the European Union.
