Our dream collab with THE BARBIE is here just in time for Women’s History Month. HUGE shoutout to the @barbiestyle team for creating this one-of-a-kind doll to celebrate our collab! It was so important to me for young girls out there to see a South Asian American Barbie, paving her own path and turning her dreams into a reality by unapologetically being herself. Although this doll isn’t for sale (yet😉), I’m grateful this visual representation exists. This is the next step towards our mission of creating a more inclusive world for the next generation.

TIME Magazine 2022 Next Generation Leaders 🧡
A little story: When @time contacted me and said they wanted to name me one of 10 world leaders on their 2022 list, I had a moment of “why me?” Today, after watching the video interview their team so beautifully put together (will post it tomorrow), I realize this moment is a manifestation of hard work I’ve put in for the last decade in the beauty industry for a community that deserves it. This moment is for every woman that doesn’t stop to see how far she’s come and doesn’t take a moment to acknowledge her accomplishments. Often times as women, especially WOC, we suffer from imposter syndrome when we are more than deserving and have put in the work. So this is for all of us. I’m proud and will be taking the time to let this one soak in. It’s a beautiful thing to be living out your purpose.

I’ve been looking through everything on my phone all week and feeling just so grateful. So many family and friends (from every chapter of my life) came out to celebrate a day I’ll never forget!
Thank you all for your kind words on my many many my posts! I know I went a bit overboard but for someone who normally doesn’t ever take a second to soak in a win, I promised myself this time would be different. This moment deserved to be celebrated and savored!
