One we had to convince the producer to sell us; the other is from a company rebuilding an entire country's coffee reputation, one lot at a time 🌿
🌸 We call it “Secret Stash” because thats what it was. Stephen Nendela wasn't planning to offer us this coffee, but when he cupped it on the table - we knew we had to get it out to you guys. Keeping it to ourselves just wasn’t an option. We got you 🫡

🍊JNP Coffee is doing something special in Burundi. They source small-lot coffees from the country’s highlands and reinvest profits into social programs - specifically for women and youth.
Crème brûlée sweetness anchors the cup, lifted by bright lemongrass and tart grapefruit. Fruit-forward but balanced florals make this offering one of our favorites, and showcases what Burundian coffee can be when done right.

We're partnering with @cincyrecyclingreusehub to create a recycling program for our 5lb coffee bags! Bring your empty 5lb bag to any one of our cafes and we'll send them over to Cincy Recycling and Reuse Hub ♻️🌆
Why only the 5lb bags? Through all of our operations, we try eliminate the use of plastic wherever we can. However, unlike our 12oz and 2lb coffee bags, 5lbs proved more difficult to construct with plant based materials so we opted for the next best option and chose recyclable!
It's important to note that these bags cannot be recycled in your standard at-home bin. They must be recycled through Cincy Recycling and Reuse Hub. Bring them by any DRC location and we'll take care of the rest 🌿
