FRIDAY, MAY 15
Dee Diggs, k.tea & Soichi Terada (live) • 10 pm – close
This club night gathers three singular artists who bring both deep historical appreciation and their own distinct sense of charm to their joyful, distinctly infectious interpretations of the house music tradition.
Resident at Public Records and The Lot Radio, and founding mother of the House of Diggs, Brooklyn-based multi-hyphenate DJ, producer, and lifelong student of the tenets of House Music
@dee.diggs tours the world performing fiercely archival and irresistibly energetic sets that transmute connoisseurship into celebration with uninhibited seductiveness, unabashed joy, and an unapologetic insistence on affirming Black femme queerness on any dancefloor she visits.
St. Louis and Chicago-born, NYC-based Lot Radio resident
@k.tea.mp3 ’s exuberant sets combine early exposure to jazz, funk, and soul with her reverence for the house and dance music traditions of New York and New Jersey, weaving sonic stories centering freedom, dance, and a wonderous sense of discovery.
Rounding out the evening is a live set from Japanese house producer and Rush Hour affiliate
@teradasoichi , known for his smiley, melodic, emotionally resonant sound honed through decades of production work spanning dancefloor cuts, videogame music, and Larry Levan-backed city-pop, forwarding a “charming house” sensibility that combines musical influences from his home country with the unmistakable finesse and allure of New York house from the 80s and 90s.
