Paint. Movement. Repetition. Something BIG is taking shape. In between, a few dance breaks. Damn… should’ve picked a Men At Work track.

A decade of chairs. From cast glass to carved stone, welded metal to scrap plastic. Each a record of process. We recently passed through the UK to visit Max Lamb after his exhibit ‘Exercises in Seating 3’ had wrapped. Just to spend a moment in the studio. More on that soon. For now —the WASTED chair, sitting somewhere in the middle of it all. Where’s Wally moment: There are two of our seats in the illustration on slide 1. See if you can spot them. ~ “Where’s Wasted?!” 🎨 : #maxlamb 📸 : @adrian__morris

A procession to the sea. Melasti — a time of cleansing, held in the days before Nyepi. Carrying what we hold, and what we’re ready to release. For the self, and the wider world — Bhuana Alit, Bhuana Agung.

What makes an Ogoh-Ogoh special is not the result — It’s the process. The conversations. The long hours together. The many hands that bring shape to an idea. And the spirit that gathers around the making. Because when an Ogoh-Ogoh is finally carried through the streets, it carries that collective energy with it. — Artist and sculptor I Gusti Ngurah Arya Udianata (Rahman) of Tampaksiring shares his reflections on materials, process, and the spirit of making together. The full episode releases on YouTube March 18.
