about a year ago @cwilzz@deddrose and I went on a spontaneous trip to the coast to make music and just see what we could create. We quickly realized our dynamic was something special and decided this was something we needed to be doing consistently. So every month we spent a weekend in manzanita, finding our sound and collecting more songs than we could have imagined. So here we are a year later, ready to start sharing it all.

Lost in at the Thesis performing “Cayenne”: There’s not a lot of feelings like hearing your words come out of the speakers and people resonating with the music and giving the energy back. so much of creation is one sided and performing really opens the door for connection I’m so grateful. Music transcends time and the songs I chose to sing span my entire musical life so it was really healing, nostalgic and new to feel thru them in a new environment. Especially since performing is such a rare thing for me last night was really special.
Thank you to @verbzthedj and @macsmiff@thethesispdx@lollipopshoppepdx for the space and opportunity and everyone who came together for the community and showed love last night!

A lil shine for one of my older songs titled “Cayenne” from the Rorscach EP I released back in 2020.
don’t have alot to say about this one but it’s been a favorite for some people for reasons I wouldn’t expect and thats guided me to stretch and make some leaps with other songs.
the things I learned with cayenne about non linear writing and chiller energy influenced the song “Time In A Bottle” from my last album for example. should’ve done two slides for comparison shiii oh well. thanks for listening bbs
