It was really fun creating a series of 3D anamorphic billboard displays to celebrate @pepsisouthafrica 's rebrand last year.
A simple brief evolved into a complex animation that included dynamic water simulations.

I adapted a 2D motion graphics piece for @yesdefinitelyyes animated by @riaaaaaaaaaaan and illustrated by @holliday.illustrates . The original design and animation is still used on the screen displays ✨
The focus was to mimic the 2D piece in a 3D space. So much camera trickery. Subsurface texturing galore! Pipe physics simulations done in @sidefxhoudini , the rest modelled, animated, textured, and rendered inside @blender.official

When @helenandkim approached us, I had no idea how crazy the concept would become. It was a lot of fun bringing "BBQ Land" to life, where everything has a certain 'flavour' to it.

When @helenandkim came to us with this concept, I had no idea how I was going to pull it off. And I was so excited.
Liquid Simulations are one thing, but controlling a liquid simulation to mesh together and form the specific shape of the Klover Crush carton? That was a challenge!
This was an epic project that required so much problem solving and RND. But the result was so worth it, and I think it's super satisfying to watch.
