《Traces of Light》 is now entering its final days — with only today and tomorrow remaining.
Thank you to everyone who has stepped through the door over the past month, pausing quietly among the works and shifting light. Each conversation, each moment of trying on the pieces, has allowed these traces of light to gently extend into different daily lives.
If you have been meaning to visit but life became busy, this weekend will be the final opportunity to experience the works in person and spend time with them up close.

《Traces of Light》 enters its second-to-last week.
Light is a quiet language.
It lingers, glides, and refracts across the surface of metal and stone, slowly settling into traces of form and time.
As the exhibition enters its final two weeks, we would like to thank everyone who has spent time with the works and shared quiet moments within the space. To mark this period, we have prepared a small gesture of appreciation for collectors.

Finding the quietest form through the process of making and searching.
Deborah Tseng’s jewellery and objects explore the delicate balance between poetic stillness and emotional intimacy. Each piece is created to hold space — space for memory, for the present moment, and for contemplation.
The solo exhibition at @sol_traces has now entered its second-to-last week. The space, filled with the scent of flowers and traces of soil, gently carries passing emotions and fragments of everyday life. Deborah hopes visitors and collectors can experience the softened edges of the works, and the way light lingers and quietly disappears across their surfaces.

Light is a quiet language.

Over the years, artist Deborah Tseng has lived and worked between Taiwan and the UK, observing the different weight and texture of light in each place. This exhibition at @sol_traces marks the first time Deborah’s works have been placed within a space carrying the memory of a flower shop — closely intertwined with plants, seasons, and everyday rituals.
We warmly invite you to visit and try on the pieces during the remaining weeks of the exhibition.

We’re excited to welcome @deborahtseng to the Silver & Steel gallery! From growing up in Taiwan with a love for drawing, music, and hands-on learning, Deborah found her path in jewellery making through fine art. Her experience after moving to the UK gave her work a unique perspective, with her bench becoming a sanctuary for creation.
Deborah’s jewellery explores themes of nature, decay, and the passage of time, creating small, transformative pieces that invite reflection. Every piece is crafted with care, combining traditional techniques with her thoughtful, sustainable practice.
Over the years, her work has grown through trade shows, bespoke commissions, and a dedication to craftsmanship. We’re thrilled to now be showcasing her pieces at Silver & Steel, now live in our gallery and coming to our online shop next week.

They are frequently seen as a sign of luck and happiness, and in Western jewellery culture, people often turn to emeralds when they speak about love and life.
Linked to legends of the love goddess Venus, emerald has also been believed to protect emotions that are sincere and delicately felt.
To me, it speaks not of fireworks in a single blazing moment, but of the green glow that stays by your side after the fireworks have faded.
In this edition of the Eclipse Slim Ring, 18ct yellow gold holds five hand-set emeralds in its warm glow.

Flow – Quiet Current travels a long way before it ever reaches the body.
It begins with tiny openings drilled into each crystal, quiet lines turned into 3D forms, wax and silver cast into shape, sprues slowly pared back, and a soft matte surface brushed onto the metal.
I wanted these pieces to feel like a quiet winter river you can wear – gentle enough to stay close every day, yet still carrying their own small light.

Flow – Quiet Current 在抵達身上之前，其實已經走了很長一段路。
從一顆一顆替水晶鑽洞，把默默的線條變成立體的形狀，到蠟與銀被鑄造成型、慢慢修去澆鑄口，再在金屬上刷出一層柔軟的霧面光。
我希望這些作品像一條可以戴在身上的冬天的安靜河流，溫柔到可以每天靠近，卻還是帶著自己的那一點光。
