Still reeling from all the good news as of late but this deserves a spot on the grid! 🎉 So excited to be honored with this award from @thealanorg ! This book is unapologetically Black and autistic. To see it get the love it’s getting, to see it lauded, to see it succeed in this way—it means everything to me. 😭 Thank you to everyone who has read, shared, and supported this book. ✨ You’re changing my life everyday. 🤍

Ok are you guys completely sick of me yet? No? Because this also deserved a spot on the grid! An award voted on and decided by a committee of the lovely teens that I wrote it for (and some of the most accomplished teens I’ve ever seen tbh). Thank you @bankstreetlibrary and the Youth Ambassadors and the committee for this award. It means so much. They said: “All the Noise at Once is the rarest kind of debut. It knows precisely what it is, who it is for, and why it matters. We hope you know that too, now more than ever.” I know it now. Thank you. 🥹🤍

It’s gonna be MAY!!!! As a long time JT fan I can’t not make the joke. 😂 April was quiet and productive. Restful and peaceful. For me, summer lies ahead. More time, more space, more creativity. April brought the release of my paperback, awards, nominations, and amazing news and plans for the rest of the year. I’m so proud of how everything is going. 🤍✨ And just cause April’s over, don’t forget autistic people. Yall still gotta accept me (and my autism) or else you’re raggedy. 😂😂 I don’t make the rules. 🤷🏽‍♀️😂

Yesterday I saw some flowers in a neighbor’s yard that PERFECTLY matched @hildurknutsdottir ’s DEAD WEIGHT cover. And then I couldn’t stop seeing the colors of friends’ covers on our entire walk! So I present: the cover garden! Featuring my amazing UK cover!
