Yelizaveta Hurinenko - ‘Just enough to continue’
Action continues, even when the capacity to sustain it begins to disappear.
This choreographic work explores a state in which a person can no longer act with the same capacity as before, yet stopping is not possible. Movement appears as the bare minimum required to remain present - reduced, repetitive actions that allow the body to stay within the process of existence.
At first this minimum seems enough to sustain the situation, but gradually it becomes insufficient. Despite the effort, the emptiness does not disappear, and the attempt to do slightly more can feel like an even deeper immersion.
Within a shared and repetitive movement language, the group moves together while each performer encounters this limit in their own way.
Dancers: Indy Dikkeboom, Nicky de Jager, Nina van der Straaten, Joshua Halman, Zena Afsharzada, Amélie Janssen
Julie Post - ‘Goddesses of femininity’
Cry, flirt, care, feel, create.
Why would you hate?
What is the role of femininity within our contemporary society?
Dancers: Sofia Zapra, Andra Keri, Esmee Oud, Resa Bartels, Lian Tuijn
Briënne Zesburg - ‘Weight of the air’
A piece about self induced pressure and how the expectations of society shape your expectations of yourself. Think of societal expectations as a pressure cooker, the pressure builds up inside until it reaches its limit.
Dancers: Indy Dikkeboom, Nicky de Jager, Isabelle Bouweir
Sue-An Agol - ‘Makɛlɛlɛ’
In Caribbean culture, celebration has always been more than joy. It has been survival, medicine and resistance. What our ancestors used to hold onto their humanity through singing, dancing and drumming was often dismissed as “noise.”
With this piece, I reclaim that word.
Makɛlɛlɛ honors the resilience, faith and strength of those who came before us, while also speaking to the racial profiling and discrimination many of us still experience today. Living in the Netherlands, I’ve learned how quickly being expressive, emotional or even simply different can be labeled as “too loud.”
But this work refuses to be quiet.
Rooted in Caribbean movement traditions and carried by the energy of Soca, this piece transforms pain into celebration and tension into release.
We are still here. Still rising.
Dancers: Briënne Zesburg, Sifra Mercelina, Nona Embsen
Roos van Gessel - ‘(de)hydrated’
there is a small gap between the curtains, i look there first.

Dancers: Xia Coenen, Jolente De Keyser
Sofia Zapra - ‘Sofia Zapra’s Poirot: Folie a Deux’
An actress invites some guests for a smooth party. A tragedy follows... Who can you trust and who is lying. Why did this happen and most importantly will Poirot solve it?
Dancers: Sifra Mercelina, Edo Herstel, Madelein Beljaars, Jamila Mul, Mandy van Silfhout, Sue-An Agol
Jip Pauel - ‘PLEASE ME’
A meeting of styles, freedom in movement, and above all the joy of creating together.
Two energies coming together and strengthening one another.
Dancers: Celine Shi, Esmay Groot, Anneloes van Tongeren, Nina van der Straaten, Jip Pauel
Nona Embsen - ‘The confrontation of reality’
In a life full of confrontation we either choose to fight it, to hide from it or to run away. But when do we make the choice to accept and embrace it with softness?
Dancers: Roos van Gessel, Jolente De Keyser, Isabelle Bouweir
Joshua Halman - ‘Tomorrow, with empty hands’
Not your regular family piece. A story that deconstructs the evolution of our relationships with time. We let go and forgive but do we also stand still with the heaviness of it all? And do we really forgive ourselves of the choices we can not make anymore?
Dancers: Geronimo Dongen, Edo Herstel, Charlotte van Heerden, Julie Post, Yelyzaveta Hurinenko
