What's an Ispahan Rose anyway?
Storytime! The 'Ispahan' flavor combo, was first developed by renown pastry chef Pierre Hermé, who was inspired by Persian flavors including lychee, rose and raspberry.
@drwinnette , our founder, first tried Hermé's Ispahan macaron many years ago on a trip to Paris. In 2021, Winnette created the SOUK version of the Isphan dessert - in the form of a rose for Mother's Day! And, we have been making them for Mother's Day ever since! It is the only time that they are available for purchase! They take up to 3 days to make and are a real labor of, well, love! Of course, we have our own special SOUK spin to this now iconic flavor combo! The core of our rose is a lychee-hibiscus-raspberry gelée! Hibiscus or sorrel, being a favorite of Winnette's, thanks to her upbringing in Trinidad & Tobago! Surrounding the core is a rose-scented raspberry mousse, which is entirely coated in
@valrhonausa Raspberry Inspiration - a stunning expression of pure raspberry flavor and all natural red color from dried raspberries!
Oh and a lil edible gold for bling, because, why not?
Truly, you don't want to miss these! Once they are gone - that's it till next year! 🔗 in bio to pre-order on their own OR in our Mother's Day Bundle. Delivered to you or for pickup at our popup
