Earlier this month,
@parallel.play.chi did me the great honor of inviting me to do a DJ set to close out their Dilly Dally & Drag event. The event was really fun and well planned, and I want to share about Parallel Play and the awesome people I met here.
Parallel Play is a grassroots community org that centers the joy and liberation of Covid-cautious, LGBTQIA+, immunocompromised + disabled individuals, and BIPOC through mutual aid, supply drives, and collaborative arts partnerships.

I also got to press play for the drag show songs and get front row seats to amazing performances. I was blown away by the creativity to make the “Bugz” theme elaborate, and funny, and raunchy 🤭
