Cascade's Golden Jubilee Enduro Closes out PIR's 2025 Race Season!
@cscc.racing 50th annual endurance race is now in the record books. The event, which took place Saturday, October 11th, had a little bit of everything. It started with the traditional Le Mans start where
@func_motorsport in their #197 BMW 330 took off like they were already in the car when the horn blew! Over the years they've become masters at the Le Mans start and probably had a quarter of a lap lead by the time the second car even left the pits.
The conditions throughout the day were extremely challenging. While the race started out dry, it didn't stay that way for long. The entire day was a mix of dry, damp, and wet conditions and seemed like it repeated itself once or twice. Endurance racing in general is tough, but the weather conditions took its toll and several cars retired before the finish. In the end, func_motorsport took the overall win in the scheduled 8-hour race and did so in dominant fashion. They won the 2-hour and 4-hour races as well.
Second place overall in a Porsche Boxster and first in E2 by a slim margin was Team MDR. Rounding out the overall podium in a BMW 325 and second place in E2 was Team 321 Purple Haze. Other class winners in the long race were the Mazda Miata of
@bunnyboysracing in E3 and the Mustang of Son of Andre in E0.
