Corporate Venture Building–Increasingly popular, yet rarely successful.
So how might we do a better job of it?
Martin Kroeger, founder of Bosch LegendsLab , and Daylight partner Pascal Soboll sat down to discuss.
The result is an honest and in-depth look at what’s going on in the field.
They suggest 10 ways to improve on the current approach to corporate venture building.
Are they right?

As designers, it's always rewarding to see our work reach those who need it, and we're grateful for the chance to work with our clients and friends on projects that make a difference.
Last Friday, @blueshieldcafoundation and @ca_partnership brought together journalists, survivors, and advocates at the @cwclub to discuss how media coverage of domestic violence is evolving and to support a community around solutions-oriented reporting on this critical public health issue.
This event marked the culmination of Domestic Violence Awareness Month and celebrated the launch of the Journalist Playbook, a resource created to support journalists in reporting on domestic violence with empathy and impact. The playbook was co-created by a stellar advisory group of journalists & survivors, Blue Shield of California Foundation, and Daylight. Thank you, @blueshieldcafoundation , for including us in this journey and memorable event.
Check out the playbook at journalists.letsenddv.org (link in bio) and join us in shifting the narrative on domestic violence.

Domestic violence is everywhere, but it's not inevitable. It can be healed and prevented. To change how society views domestic violence, we first need to change how it's reported. In recent years, @daylightdesign was fortunate to work with the amazing team at the @blueshieldcafoundation towards changing the conversation around domestic violence.
With help from journalists, survivors of domestic violence, the @ca_partnership , and others, Blue Shield of California Foundation put together a solutions-based, practical resource to help journalists report on domestic violence with accuracy, empathy, and impact. The playbook is now live! Explore it at journalists.letsenddv.org
And if you can - join the livestream on October 25th... you know where to find the link!

🌍 With World Health Day coming up, we have been reflecting on one of our favorite collaborations to date: UNICEF Kid Power.
The U.S. Fund for UNICEF reached out to Daylight with a goal: to design a Kid Power experience to motivate kids in the United States to increase their physical activity while teaching them what it means to be a global citizen.
The UNICEF Kid Power Band engages children to get active through missions, where they earn points and unlock therapeutic food packets for severely malnourished children around the world. This has proved to be a powerful combination; the UNICEF Kid Power Band spurred a 59% increase in movement for users and donated enough food packets to save more than 100,000 children.
— A simple and powerful tool for bridging the health equity gap and showcasing the power of collective action in global health.
