Start of the pandemic hit little differently than I anticipated.
My Dad had emergency open heart surgery about couple weeks before things shut down, making him obviously susceptible. His health was completely dependent on the way total strangers responded around him.
That gave the empty streets, closed businesses & stillness a different meaning.
Definitely an apocalyptic feeling here in New York. There has been so much loss but you could argue this is one of the most remarkable acts of global solidarity we may ever witness.
So this is simply my unique experience with Covid-19 thus far. It will most likely not be yours. With Love // #NewYorkCity #Covid19
Watching the sunrise as we kayaked through the mist was one of the more peaceful moments in the Dolomites. A few months ago we got to be apart of a 12 day road trip through Italy for Nikon’s new camera release. Was one of the funnest projects with one of the best crews - too many laughs, espressos & sunrises. The hotel remind you of anything?! // #WesAnderson #GrandBudapest #Dolomites
Stretching the legs after a full 3 hour motorbike trip to the Imperial City of Hue. You cruise over the Hai Van Pass, through the Valley of Tombs (not making this up) and past what can only be described as a deserted beach town. This is a rad city with lots of temples, history and some of the best food in Vietnam. There was a 5m drop on the one side too :) // #Vietnam #Hue #ImperialCity #barefoot
Quite wild to have places like this all to yourself! Having spent the last 2.5 months working in South East Asia, it’s insane the dialogue difference here vs the States regarding #Covid19. Makes you question how we really know what we know! Like where is our information getting their information? Often it’s based off something we heard from someone who heard something from someone. Would be amazing if we had to cite the source for anything we say, imagine the world would be a much quieter place :) 📷 @kia_steiger // #Bali #Indonesia #LekeLeke #ThinkTwice @indtravel
Never imagined I’d end up in the Bush playing pick up with the Maasai in Africa! This was one of the raddest things I’ve stumbled into. They live within a stones throw from lions, have their own language & wealth is measured simply in cows. How fun that a ball is all that’s needed to bring such worlds together // #Tanzania #Maasai #Africa #WalterMitty
It’s been one of the most productive months working remote here in SE Asia. A healthy work-life balance is something that’s seemingly harder to create these days, we just don’t allocate enough personal time! Somehow it’s become a currency to claim our late hours, how busy we are, how hard we are “hustling”. I was taught a long time ago that at the end of the day, it’s just about results. So don’t feel pressure to fill your schedule or do more than you can handle - take up a hobby, invest in yourself and remember what you are working for in the first place! Having outdoor gyms, organic food, hiking, beaches, monkeys & diving all within a short motorbike from our office has been a great balance! // #Thailand #Krabi #AoNang #RailayBeach #TheLovelyDay #StayFresh
The trail head was actually the other direction but when your waiting on @alex_stead & @antonsnelson to set up ahead, you find ways to entertain yourself! I’m bias but I’d buy this @patagonia jacket if I saw this photo 😂 // #Dolomites #Italy #Nikon
I love that we measure value intrinsically - meaning that what is most important to us is ultimately up to us to decide! Something that matters to one person can mean very little to someone else - relationships, experiences, wealth, busyness. Happiness then can be anything we decide and no one can tell you otherwise! That might be one of the raddest parts of life, that what we cherish most doesn’t lose it’s worth when others feel differently. So let go, chase what you love & be firm in what you value - that’s what makes us unique! \\ @risefestival #risefestival
It’s not often you have projects that allow you to go explore in the mountains - especially a mountain range as impressive as this one. I kept saying the Dolomites looked as if “the earth sneezed and they just shot up out of the ground”. I still feel that description is pretty on point 😂 // #Dolomites #Italy #HikingAdventures
If you don’t gram it, did it even happen? Just in case, here’s a shot at the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, a full 19,340ft above sea level. To stand above the clouds, feeling like you are in space as you literally see the curvature of the earth - that’s pretty all time! .

Its easy to see why Game of Thrones filmed so much here in Iceland, can picture dragons just about anywhere. Love how much this place transports you, humbling to say the least
You only fail if you do not learn from failing. Mistakes happen, but if you are making them, it means you are at least trying! From that you you grow, you develop, you improve. The past can not be changed, so give grace to those who are trying because we will all fall short - that’s a given. But in the end we shouldn’t be measured on how often we fall down, but how quickly we get up. So go out, give it a go & fail better 🤙🏼 // #Iceland #TryAlways #GiveGrace #SeeTheGood 📷 @kylepters
