•LIMINAL SPACES•
Pt. 1 of my birthday weekend included kicking off the first installment of Liminal Spaces hosted by @suecydedrag 🥀 The cast, the venue, and the general energy of the crowd was something so special and I couldn’t be more thrilled to have taken part. I was feeling very overwhelmed with ideas for this performance, but at some point the crazy spinning thoughts became clear and I knew exactly what I wanted.
Often times as a genderfluid person, I feel a bit “sewn together” as there are parts of me I feel confident in naturally, and parts I’ve done my best to conceal and/ or change. I think most people can relate to feeling uncomfortable in their own skin, but dysphoria is a an animal of its own kind. This look represents feeling beauty despite the horror of it all, even when you’re almost “trapped” in your own skin. This look to me represents taking over the narrative and living beyond the pre-set roles we’ve been born into. Thank you for reading🖤

Had the pleasure of getting glammed up for Freshman Lineup last week @ Southern! Spent a good chunk of my day styling this absolutely gorgeous hair and I’m soooo happy with how she turned out. My favorite part of drag is that it can literally be ANYTHING you want it to be. If you wanna be a goblin one day, and a princess the next then you CAN INDEED DO THAT, and I always have a great time. 💜
