Mootney — Chestnut 🌰 EP Inspired by the streets of Kyiv, Davyd created a controversial EP with hints of the same sense of mysticism, constant change, and struggle for dignity that can be breathed in this beautiful city. This release has a clear dance focus, although it is still between genres with the prefix "IDM". Kashtan is a symbol of Kyiv, and this work is dedicated to its nightlife. The EP opens with "Shiroki shtani (Wide Pants)" - dark alley UA-garage on steroids. "Yefim Cut" is a broken dubstep opera with dub vibes. The title track "Chestnut" dedicated to my native Kyiv, and it is a peaktime techno machine gun with a nod towards trance. I am really proud of this track, because I usually do not allow myself such emotions in music - says Davyd.
