Join us Friday where we have the pleasure of welcoming zen back to Coro.
Zen Jefferson (he/they) is a Black & Queer DJ, performer, and NY Bessie-nominated sound collage artist. Born in York, UK and raised in Seattle, now rooted in Berlin — his Swiss and American heritage runs through a practice that has always crossed borders. Zen’s sets move through an Afro Global Tender Cosmic Continuum, weaving highlife, spiritual jazz, and diasporic rhythms into sound shaped for bodies in space. No genres. No borders. Music as a practice of love — for drifting, dancing, and deep listening.
Welcome to our new Wednesday music concept called Midweek service.
Each week we will be inviting passionate music heads to take us on their sonic journey. Come early, stay to late. Music starts at 19.00. Come join us for a glass and celebrate making it half way through the week?
This weeks service is with bledi and Zapata.
Hailing from London, bledi drifts through ambient, lo-fi, and experimental sounds, no matter the genre. He shares records from his collection on his Refuge Worldwide show kopfkino and around town.
Zapata is a New York-born DJ and co-founder of Hardmatter Records, drawing on a lifelong love of jazz, soul, and deep, textured grooves. His sets lean warm and atmospheric, built for close listening, and always played with feeling.
bledi and Zapata are longtime friends, bonded over years of swapped links and a shared desire to pitch it down. Expect heady sounds, plenty of texture, and a few beats for good measure.
Born in Istanbul and based in Berlin since 2019, DJ Regret draws inspiration from free-party culture, big sound systems and 90s rave nostalgia to craft sets that move between acid-driven techno, breaks and wonky stuff as well as dub and more laidback sounds that he will play for us specially this Saturday.
Beyond DJing, he is the co-founder of the Ausländerbehörde collective; a platform dedicated to amplifying underrepresented artists while fostering a strong bond between Berlin and Istanbul.
Join us Thursday from 20.00 where we have the pleasure of presenting Olle. Music selector, record collector and DJ. Originally from the very north of Sweden but currently based in Stockholm. Been running the IG page (@uptowndiggin ) since the pandemic with the goal to spread love and connect with likeminded people - musical inspiration for the mind, body and soul - timeless grooves from all around the world
From Nice to Marseille - popup at @coroberlin - 7&8 May
Let’s celebrate the sunny days with a very hot menu - I will guide you on a journey from Nice to Marseille through a 4-courses menu, starring traditional dishes from there I all grew up with :
- socca, a chickpea-based specialty from Le Vieux Nice
- a pissaladiere, an onion & anchovies tart also from Nice and around
- the one and only aïoli, the real - this typical dish from Marseille is made out of cod and vegetables to be dipped in the famous aïoli sauce
- a pompe à l‘huile, an addictive brioche with olive oil that you can only find in Marseille, except tonight…
And since we love surprises and spring, I added some floral touches on each of them that I will let you guess to train your buds. We will also have a surprise cocktail concocted by Tue 🤝
Our dear DJs are ready to bring their finest records selection and make the night even more special!
Don‘t wait to book your table, seats are limited. You can DM me or Coro directly.

Paulita is a young selector with an old soul, known for bringing an infectious, high-vibrational energy and a raw, physical presence to the booth. Born in LA, shaped by her Chilean heritage, and now based in Berlin, she is a DJ who leads by example—dancing as hard as the front row to a deep-dug blend of Brazilian gems, deep-cut funk, raw disco, and slow-burning soulful house. For Paulita, the dance floor is a space of freedom and legacy. With a decade of record collecting behind her, she specializes in finding the “real music”—the soulful, unexpected tracks you never knew you needed. This commitment to sound extends beyond the booth through her work with independent labels and her own creative outlets, CACTUS and Sobremesa Sounds. Whether she’s headlining an underground room or a sun-drenched terrace, Paulita strips away the pressure of the “boom” to bring the soul, the sweat, and a genuine human connection back to the center of the room.
This Friday TRU:L will be serenading you again at the lovely Coro Bar in Berlin, with a selection of multi-genres delivered on wax, straight from the top shelf & beyond 🫠

Their collaboration draws inspiration not only from one of the world’s most influential scenes, but also from the powerful voices of women who have continually pioneered the music we love—yet still haven’t fully received the recognition they deserve. Women in music have long created spaces that bring generations together, nurtured communities, and have been there from the very beginning.
Expect jazz, soul, rnb, rare grooves, lovers rock, UK street soul & more, all from the heart ❤️

Pierre is a Berlin-based dj who firmly believes in the transformative power of the dancefloors, having been a fixture on Berlin’s for close to a decade. A music journalist by day, his ongoing search for the next tune casts a wide net, but in the booth, he pays tribute to the queer and Black roots of dance music culture, with a particular fondness for jacking house, raunchy acid and all things Chicago.
