The song “Easy Lover” was our first 2 days of filming at Paramount. This design required careful coordination between Miley, the Dancers & Choreographer, Camera and Lighting as this circular stair platform was almost 30ft wide and over 7ft tall. We also created a 16ft diameter “sun” with an array of lights hidden inside with custom Rosebrand GlowUp rear projection fabric circle. Thank you to all involved! #adgawards #somethingbeautifulart

Transporting us from a backlit stage with drum set - a bedroom with projected images beyond - and into a flowing oversize “bedsheet tunnel” with multiple projectors overlaying images that cascade into fog and fabric. Last year my Art Dept. and I worked on a Visual Pop Opera created by Miley Cyrus. All 13 songs from her latest Album “Something Beautiful” were featured in this film that premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival. Nominated for 3 VMA awards (Best Art Direction). We are now looking toward the Art Director Guild Awards.
