Only just realised I’ve never hardposted that my stone-cold CLASSIC (and often ripped-off) Rock, Paper, Scissors illustration is available as a little A5 Risograph on my online shop. Going for a paltry £12 (+ use code FAB during February for a 20% discount). davidgalletly.com/shop

From sketch to screen. A behind the scenes look at our Burns Night animation, created by Stirling based artist David Galletly and inspired by Robert Burns poetry.   From our mill in Ayr, the birthplace of Robert Burns, the animation draws on his enduring influence, from “A Red, Red Rose” to the global reach of “Auld Lang Syne”. Tonight, we raise a glass to the poet whose words have moved generations, all over the world.   Happy Burns Night! #beggxco #madeinscotland #burnsnight #robertburns

This week is Hate Crime Awareness Week, and we are thrilled to launch “A Bird’s Eye View on Hate Crime”, an animation we’ve been developing over the last six months with our incredibly talented volunteer group, in collaboration with local artist @davidgalletly . The aim of this animation is to raise awareness about what a hate crime is, where it comes from, and how we can all play a part in challenging it. Through the metaphor of birds, symbols of freedom and diversity, the project explores how our environments shape attitudes and how small actions can make a big difference. It encourages empathy, understanding, and safe action: to report, educate, and learn together to prevent hate. . A huge thank you goes to: • David Galletly, for working with our young people to bring their creative ideas to life through character design, storyboarding, and animation. • @policescotlandofficial Forth Valley Division’s EDI Coordinator, Rebecca Northover, who visited our group multiple times and supported us every step of the way, helping us understand more about hate crime, how to report it, and what we can all do to prevent hate. • Lou and @lgbtys , for their continued support and guidance throughout the project. • And finally, an enormous thank you to our amazing volunteer group: Matthew, Quinn, Tobi, Nathaniel, Dream, Erin, Victor, Carl, and Ciaran, and our Community Manager Sam Green, who worked tirelessly to bring this project to life. Together with David Galletly, they developed the story, designed characters, and created the animation, learning new skills in digital art, storytelling, and animation along the way. Your creativity, passion, and dedication have made this campaign what it is: a vibrant and meaningful call to action that reminds us all that everyone can make a difference. . Please watch and share the animation, and visit our campaign webpage (link in bio). . REPORT. EDUCATE. LEARN. In 1996, I bought an Adidas baseball cap from Debenhams in Stirling. It is my favourite hat. After nearly 30 years, it is a little worse for wear. I occasionally search for a replacement with little luck. That is, until Monday when I found one on Vinted in amazing condition. It has brought me an undeniable sense of closure.

I designed a collection of products for the wonderful @smithmuseum gift shop earlier in the year. Big love to @madeinstirlingstore for help with the collaboration. Go to The Smith and buy something!
