Got to do some colour on the print parts for @schrotthagen “Pain in my Heart” /watch?v=EQuWxit0BTI This was a really unique project for multiple reasons, with the obvious being the print look. This was achieved by doing exactly that: printing every frame onto paper and scanning them back in. Also not a single camera move in the print parts was done in camera… they were all done in post by separating foreground and background, animating them by hand to achieve that anime-like movement. And after all of that was done by the amazing team, I got to colour those print parts from the other end of the world. What a blast!!! . . (1/3) On my way to Australia I made a “short” stop in Indonesia. Before I left I stocked up on film with the goal of shooting a whole lot while I’m travelling around a couple different islands. I was also very excited to shoot this long expired Fuji Eterna 250D and see what kind of look I can get out of it. Looking forward to take some inspirations from this stock on upcoming grading projects. More to come…
