In this short film, Mean Goddesses Vodún practice is condensed into a ritual set at dawn in a fog-covered river landscape. Wax sculptures made from white business shirts are burned in a ceremonial act, cursed and destroyed.
The shirts stand for institutional power, patriarchal order, and structural violence. The fire marks a point at which destruction and reorientation occur simultaneously.
This is more than a threat, it’s a promise.
