⚡️ “ENERGY: Redistributing Power and Taming Consumption” ⚡️
This exhibition facilitated by FUTURES (Futures Photography) explores global energy crises—ecological, socio-political, economic, and humanitarian—that impact both humans and the environment. At the same time, it explores the concept of energy as a force for change.
Featuring works by Antonio Guerra, Dávid Biró, Hiền Hoàng, Marta Pinto Machado, Tanja Engelberts, Umberto Diecinove, Yana Kononova, and Yana Wernicke, the exhibition offers diverse perspectives, from the destruction of war and extractivism to healing, and solidarity. Based on a 2023 open call by FUTURES, the show was previously presented at the Robert Capa Contemporary Photography Center and PhotoIreland. FOTODOK hosts its final presentation.
The exhibition is open from the 1st of November 2024 till the 2nd of February 2025.
