Shamelessly, I discovered their music through TikTok and instantly fell in love with their group dynamic and energy. Meeting them in person, filming their interview, and experiencing their live performance up close was truly a dream come true.

What a year it’s been! Didn’t include every moment in the video (it would’ve been too long), but here’s a little snippet of all the concert/performance I attended this year. Grateful for 2024 and my wallet is ready for 2025.

This experience was both eye-opening and incredibly rewarding. Tbh it wasn’t the easiest journey leading up to it, but I’m still proud of how it all came together. 🙌 Huge thanks to the amazing Korean team for their professionalism and for making this happen despite the tight timeline.

It was the year of 2009, #2NE1, a group of four girls—each of a distinct identity—made their debut with ‘Fire’ and fastidiously became one of Korean pop music’s best-selling acts. Their success was followed by an abrupt disbandment, eight years of inactivity and now a comeback tour that no one saw coming. And if the quartet’s vocalist and #VogueSingapore’s December digital cover star #SandaraPark has anything to say about it, it would be that “2NE1 has always been somewhat unpredictable.”
Coinciding with the group’s 15th anniversary, the tour is aptly titled Welcome Back. “Nothing was planned ahead. Including the sudden break-up, the surprise Coachella performance and the 15th anniversary concert,” the star says. Yet, a reunion was always something she knew was on the cards. “All four members love being on stage together and that’s what we’ve always wanted.”

31 years old. Happy birthday to me :)
Time flies, doesn’t it? Here I am again, navigating through a strange phase in life. Nothing is planned, and I find myself all alone once more—not that it’s a surprise to anyone.
If I’m being honest, this year has been one of the toughest for me. My birthday always feels like a time for reflection. But looking back, I can't say I’m proud of it. I tried to find meaning externally, only to face more suffering and mental struggles. Regrets and negativity filled my days, and for a while, I couldn’t see a way out.
To my family and friends who stood by me through the highs and the lows—thank you. You are truly the best, and I’m grateful for your love and patience. To those I’ve wronged, I’m deeply sorry and wish you nothing but the best.
Lately, I came across posts about how idols give courage to ordinary people. It’s hard to explain, but my favorite group somehow helped me find the strength to move forward. Through their music and words, I’ve regained a sense of hope and determination to turn things around.
So, here’s to a new chapter. To loving myself more. To give love where I can. 2025년에는 용기와 긍정의 마음으로 힘차게 나아가겠습니다.
