Participants in this workshop will work in small teams to develop an onboarding schema, enact it, get feedback, blow it to smithereens, and try it all over again. 📋
Ruzicka will cover onboarding’s relationship to safety, psychology, legibility, creativity, legalese, and “ick”; he will also discuss some of the key distinctions between onboarding, tutorials, orientation, and other overlapping concepts, borrowing from from video games, immersive theatre, grocery stores, and maybe even actual corporate onboarding. 👩🔬

Been studying the surreal works of Hayashi Yoshifumi and Miyanishi Keizo. Fluidity and metamorphic sexuality in scientific and romantic ways, respectively. Not for the faint of heart, but definitely a lot more going on here than “sexy” drawings. (Also, kickass packaging - thanks @japan_book_hunter )
