Volume, desire, and contradiction.
In “Eve,” Dave Cooper unfolds his unique universe where proportions are stretched and the body becomes a territory of exploration. The grotesque and the beautiful coexist in a constant tension: a figure that is both unsettling and alluring.
Cooper plays with hedonism, body image, and his own ideas of beauty and sexuality, oscillating between desire, guilt, and feminine mystery. Forms are exaggerated—legs, volumes, textures—revealing a raw and deeply human perspective.

On Saturday, April 4th, downtown Los Angeles’ @coreyhelfordgallery will proudly premiere its eleventh Art Collector Starter Kit (ACSK XI) group show, featuring affordable, new 12” x 12” works from over 120 established and emerging artists from across the globe.
ACSK XI offers a great opportunity for newer collectors and enthusiasts with limited space or budgets to purchase an original piece of art from their favorite CHG artist. Smaller, more affordable new works by the artists that everyone loves was the inciting idea behind CHG’s popular annual group show when it launched in 2013. The gallery continues to pursue its mission of spreading the joy and satisfaction of art appreciation and collection to the larger public.
CHG’s owner, Jan Corey Helford, says, “CHG was created with the intention of making art available to collectors of all ranges, with the radical assertion that ‘art for the elite only’ is a distortion of the real purpose of art − to create something that stirs the hearts and minds of everyone and anyone who can view it.” Adding, “Every ACSK show, the artists are asked to submit works that are 12” x 12” in size and what we receive is an explosion of creativity in a multitude of mediums (including oil, acrylic, charcoal, sculpture, and installation). The result is an exciting and varied show where all in attendance are sure to find something to delight their tastes and ignite their passions.”
OPENING RECEPTION: April 4, 2026, 7:00pm - 11:00pm

With this video, we close and bid farewell to our participation in ArtMadrid26, still feeling a little hungover but, above all, with our hearts full of all the people we have met over the last few days. Reunions and first encounters that leave us with memories that will be hard to beat.
We would like to thank the ArtMadrid organizers for making such a special edition possible, and all the people who collaborate and support the Est_ArtSpace project so that it can continue to grow.
Of course, thanks also to our wonderful cast of artists who have accompanied us during the fair—either physically (Arol, Perrilla and Eva Alonso) or in spirit (Dave Cooper).
Thank you all once again.
See you very soon at Est_ArtSpace.
