I was honored to be asked to make a film for such a beautiful track by @kenzozurzolo - Bloom. Kenzo recorded part of his album in Iceland so we went there to basically make a love letter to nature and the unreal landscapes that it holds. Most of it included late nights as the sun in Iceland barely sets and driving countless miles with Kenzo, myself, @dom_lake and @kristinlarsdahl . Climbing onto Glaciers with no gear and setting FB marketplace sheds on fire. ‘Hot Like Fire’ - Visual 🏁 This collaboration with Dave has been a year in the making. We spent some time in a synth studio in London - writing, recording and filming the creative process as it unfolded. We wanted to contrast that with scenes from our summer downtime back home in South Africa, riding motorbikes in the countryside. The entire film was shot on 8mm and 16mm - something we’ve been wanting to do for years.
