RED Komodo 6K // Angenieux Optimo Style 30-76
Like most Komodo Builds this started out quite neatly until I began with cord management, but to counter this I designed a low-profile Lemo-Splitter-Bracket for mounting on a Tilta swivel-side-plate. This made things a lot easier and tidier around the top camera screen. 🐛
In my smaller builds I always like to have side handles for easy handheld action. Even though the Komodo has an extremely small body I managed to pull that off by offsetting the transmitter with a tiny plate.
This FX6 includes some of my best 3D printed custom parts. Since I don't like the Sony Handles I replaced them with my Bright Tangerine ones and extended upon their original purpose. For the Top I designed a simple plate connecting to a E-PL Adapter support specifically for the Vocas Version since that one doesn't work with cages very well.
For the Side Handle Mount I designed a simple 1/4" Adapter to mount a cinelock carrying a teradek. 🦦
I can't seem to fit any more accessoires on this R5C without it falling over. I 3D printed a few clamps and adapters to make this build cleaner. My D-Tap Splitter-Extension came in clutch, but also made the cables in the back a little messy 🏜️
