ATLAS_EXCURSIONS began in Milan, a city rich with creativity yet noticeably lacking spaces where diverse creative trajectories could meet casually, comfortably, and without hierarchy. Malika El Maslouhi founded ATLAS from a simple but essential idea: by us, for us. A way for people who donāt usually intersect to walk together, share landscapes, and practice a gentle form of collective wayfinding, navigating life, culture, and place alongside one another rather than alone. From the beginning, ATLAS became a living inquiry into what it means to move today, not as an abstract concept but as a shared, embodied practice.
ATLAS brings people together through excursions and shared moments, placing talent close to local cultures, natural environments, and each other. It asks how we might orient ourselves in a world that rarely pauses. To move with friends, for friends. To communicate through food, sound, time, and presence. To navigate not through maps or industries but through one another. To move in ways that feel instinctive, attentive, and quietly humanly just.
Since its inception, ATLAS has been quietly supported by Nike Women, an alignment that has helped the project grow while maintaining its independent spirit.
