The Best New Pizza in town There. We said it. Inside of @latchkey_denver in Denver’s Uptown Neighborhood you’ll find a Pizza window by the geniuses behind @hearthdenver It’s called @afterschoolpizzadenver and it’s incredible. They are typically there Thursday - Saturday, 5pm - 10pm but watch their page for updates. We take pizza seriously and we don’t drop recommendations lightly. We absolutely CRUSHED this whole pie in one sitting and it was pretty big. It never stood a chance. If you don’t already know Hearth: Their coffee is 🔥 and their pastries are 💣 It makes sense that they would Nail Sourdough Pizza. If you don’t already know Latchkey: It’s a rad neighborhood spot with good people and great drinks. Take someone here on a date. Show them that you know the coolest things happening in the city. A Perfect Day We think so! Shopping with your love, a romantic dinner, then drinks with a view? Say less. We spent the day at @belleviewstation and it’s officially Date-Night approved. How we planned our Date: 🛍️ Shop Stop Mother’s Day was fast approaching so we held hands and browsed at @alineboutique to see what Alicia got giddy over. Plus, they offered us champs as soon as we walked in = immediate win. 🐘 Happy Hour ➡️ Dinner @ambli_global_dtc might have one of the best HHs around (hello lobster shooters 😍). We stayed for dinner and… zero regrets. Order anything and feel very taken care of. Trust us. 🏔️ Nightcap Views! Rooftop at @halodenver inside @kimptonclaret is cozy, romantic, and the perfect ending. Yes, we wrapped by 7:30… and yes, we’d do it again. Belleview Station has so much to offer with a huge dog park, a beer garden, a farmers market, fitness studios, and restaurants and shops galore, so approach your own Adventure there any way you’d like. New Head Chef! New Menu! A Wonderful Start to Something Delicious… We recently had the chance to experience the new menu at @rootdowndenver and let’s just say…Date Night was thriving. Between the creative cocktails (with many NA options like The Beet Down), beautifully crafted dishes, and the fresh energy brought by their new chef, Hannah Elkins, every course felt like a little surprise in the best way: seasonally driven, veggie forward, and Americana-rooted. A little poem to inspire you: Once upon a Sunday we were hankering for a brunch, we scootered over to @onefold_denver to have a little munch. It was our first time, the menu looked delish, “All we need is more tummy room” we said with a wish. We split a crepe, breakfast burrito, and carafe of the juice 😉 😉 it was the Brunch Date we longed for to get a little loose. Have you been to this gem? We won’t claim to be experts on BBQ (or anything really) but we do eat out a lot (happy wife, happy life). We were lucky enough to try @elevated.q in Westminster recently and our jaws were on the floor. Here’s what we loved about it: 😘 It’s elevated for a BBQ joint but it’s also a chill, let’s watch the game and get messy together kinda spot. Perfect for a casual, delicious Date Night 😋 The flavors were outstanding. The platters, the loaded fries, the sides, all of it. Dan is sort of a Corn Bread snob (self proclaimed) and he LOVED it. 🥃 We love a show and they told us they can make ANY of their drinks ‘smoked’. We obviously had to do this. 10/10 no notes. We also loved sampling ALL of their sauces Pro Tip: All Fried items are fried in beef tallow which definitely adds to the delicious flavors. This is going to be your new go-to… If you’re like us, you love to try different lunch options to help break up your day / week. @saladywestminster is the Number 1 Korean-inspired Salad brand and their options are anything but ordinary. We went on a date here recently and we were shocked by the variety of options and the unique flavors. We have never had a lunch like this before. Here’s what we tried from their new menu: Garlic Shrimp Salady & Bibim Bowl - A classic, delicious bowl that will fuel a productive day (rather than leading to a mid afternoon nap) Bulgogi Salady - This is one of those salads thats so good that you forget you’re having a ‘salad’. That Bulgogi is good on everything. Smoothies - We tried all 4 of their smoothies and they were all 🔥 Dan’s favorite was the Double Chocolate Protein and Alicia swooned over the Mango Pineapple Bulgogi Egg Mayo Sandwich - We had never heard of a combo like this and our lives are forever changed. Would definitely order this one again. Loaded Egg Salad - Egg, Mayo, Bacon, Corn, Crispy Onions - what could be bad!? Which of these do you want to try? Pro Tip: If you fill out a google review, they will give you those rad Jibbitz you can see in our video (made for Crocs but as you could see, they work well with other shoes too 😉) - only available until they run out! What is that Mushroom Place? If you’re like us, you’ve driven by the blow up Mushroom on 17th like a million trillion times and always thought “huh, I wonder what that is?”. If you skip the rest of this caption, all you need to know is it’s @plantmagicdenver and You must go. This unique space is a coffee shop with all the Classic Coffees and Teas + Magic Lattes with mushroom adaptogens, like cacao and golden milk. And, if you become a Member (easy online sign up and it’s free) there are other magical perks. That’s exactly what we did, and we had the most relaxing and nourishing afternoon. The Community here is so Beautiful. There are events and gatherings all the time, education and therapeutic opportunities, and the space just lends itself to feeling good. We’ve already planned our next date here - Thursdays and Fridays at 7:07 is Mushroom And Mocktails, and we are stoked!
