As of late…🍾
So grateful — all the wins, all the losses, all the lessons, and epiphanies. Blessed to see year 33.
Thanks for all for the birthday wishes, and thanks to everyone who pulled up Friday, the HILARY way 📢
Today I visited Villa Paula, a gem in Little Haiti, which launched exclusive showings during Miami Art & Design Week ‘25. This exhibition, taking place inside of a Neo-classical mansion, is a project by @thefutureperfect . The Villa was built in 1926, and was originally recognized as the first Cuban consulate in Miami. The best part is, they say it’s haunted. I couldn’t wait to go explore it in person, featuring 1 of 1 pieces all throughout, and one of my favorite sofas — the Strata Kink by @boon_editions .
I’m still on a high from Art Basel, and even though I didn’t get a chance to see everything during the week, this was one I’m happy is ongoing.
Art Basel Olympics hit different this year. Everything fell right into place like the domino effect. This is my 8th year being invited back to the major fairs and private activations, collaborated with @cassinaofficial for the 2nd year in a row, alongside @pietro.terzini for ME FROM OUTSIDE collection and sonic branding experience via @hilary.live , DJed Art Fair VIP Preview nights, linked up with more long time Internet friends, saw a lot of good art and design, all of that jazz.
Came a long way since my first Art Basel in 2014. Over a decade in the game, and everything I’ve ever worked towards finally feels like it’s starting to pay off. Patience is an underrated currency in this life, and none of this was easy by any means, but I promise you it feels good once you break through. Grateful for anyone who’s ever been in my corner or supported in anything I’ve ever pushed forward or believed in. I promise you the love from me is forever, and we’re taking it a step further every year.
Best believe I’m already in 2026 with it 🍾
This year was a movie and sometimes it doesn’t even feel real. You have to make the soundtrack to your life, and tweak it exactly how you want it. From planted seeds to gardens. Grateful for every hurdle, because it made the leaps easier. 🔋
As a Designer & Artist, each project I start, I turn to my @Taschen books for a starting point and inspiration. Art and Design books are the pulse to my creative drive – opening one feels like opening a window, but manually, and that’s an experience I think i’ll always enjoy.
My collection is also an emergency exit to stillness when I need a mental reset. Sometimes my life is on autopilot and becomes too automated, so I need a manual system or a factory reset button to recalibrate.
My favorite thing about the brand is their focus on the lesser-seen art and making it more accessible to local bookstores, introducing them into the general public in unique, yet simple ways. No subject is too little, no ceiling is too high or low.
I recently added a bunch of new books to my collection, and from Sept. 3-7, the Taschen Bookstore on Lincoln Road is doing their bi-annual sale featuring limited collections and masterful deals. [•]

Thank you @katyaprihod and @content_by_chris for capturing me in my element. Also, special thanks to @theyev__ for making this happen. 🎥🪨

A conversation worth having — Cocktails + Conversations: The Grey Area of A.I., a discussion exploring the grey area of artificial intelligence, the positives, the concerns, and its impact on human creativity, in collaboration with @sohohouse . My first panel in a while and RSVPs reached the cap. 🔋[•]

Artists don’t take enough time to bask in the things they’ve created or the progress they’ve made, because they’re constantly at war with the limitations of the world.
I decided to be an Artist over a decade ago, and nobody’s changing my mind. I’m proud of me for still going, and quantum leaping with no parachute.
