Attraverso questa serie indago la trasformazione della percezione, della memoria e
dell’immaginazione nell’epoca di Internet, dei social network e dell’intelligenza artificiale.
Utilizzo un archivio eterogeneo di immagini, che decostruisco e ricompongo attraverso la pittura
a olio, intesa anche come dispositivo di traduzione e di montaggio. Le opere si configurano come
spazi processuali visivamente complessi in cui la deriva dello sguardo genera narrazioni
ambigue, instabili e plurali

Dopo cinque anni di attività, di lavoro, di feste e soprattutto di comunità, siamo costrettɜ a lasciare lo spazio che ci ha ospitatɜ.
Sì, ci hanno sfrattato. Ma vogliamo chiudere questo capitolo come lo abbiamo vissuto: insieme.
Per questo vi invitiamo a condividere con noi un’ultima serata all’interno di Armenia.
Una serata aperta a tuttɜ – chi è passato anche solo una volta, chi avrebbe voluto, chi c’è sempre stato.

“A first time”
Iva was the first person I met in Milan and also the first person who encouraged me to paint. It is a great privilege but also a responsibility to exhibit with her, for the first time, some of my most recent unpublished paintings.
It all started with a lesson on black.
As this emerged, the vision sharpened and filled the dark surface of the canvas with colour in a paradoxical and endless psychedelic movement. Finding the most uncontrolled joy in the dark is still surprising.
The second lesson explored luminous bodies, those where connective energy flows, where White shines from within, where canvases are like doors to perception.
During the third and final lesson, I intuited what will be the internal motor of my pictorial reality: the proximity dynamic between bodies such as a hand, a piece of wood covered in hair and a canvas stretched as if it were a ritual drum. And the present as the only real time.
I would never have thought that painting could take my hand like that, and everything else too.
