This one has been slow-cooking for a while. Structured as the score to the imaginary film version of Italo Calvino’s ‘If on a winters night a traveler’ it’s a neo-classical psychedelic dream nightmare. It features Christian Li on guzheng, Mason Hankamer on upright bass and Jordi Nus on strings. I play piano and synthesizers.

This instrumental collection is structured as the score to the 1948 novel ‘Snow Country’ by Yasunari Kawabata. Last year I found myself seeking out a lot of repetitive and minimal compositions - music that was as easy to ignore as it was to get lost in. This soundtrack was created in that spirit; for filmmakers as well as for people who listen while they work and/or putz.
