#GentryLee is a treasure. He’s the subject of STARMAN, @robertstonefilm new film. Robert is one of my favorite documentary filmmakers. I did some assistant camera work for him back in the early 90’s. Nothing like getting to set and having to load a 16mm CP GSMO(IYKYK). After that first shoot (i think it was bill clinton being nominated on the floor of the DNC convention at MSG) I immediately went out and bought my own. It was the smallest, most affordable 400’ crystal sync 16mm camera out there. We used 2 GSMOs to film Benjamin Smoke a few years later. The cosmic connections are endless - more science, more math, less BS.
Vernon Malone waiting on the ferry to Marsh Harbor for a doctor’s appt. Vernon is seventh-generation descendant of Wyannie Malone(loyalist during the revolutionary war), the founder of Hope Town. Vernon has been a central figure in the Elbow Cay community in the Bahamas for decades. He is known not only for his iconic, Vernon’s Grocery but for his fresh baked pies, especially the key lime pie, which has become something of a local legend.
