A deep electronic short circuit of the body — binding the limbs long before the mind catches up. DAS inscribe themselves into the great lineage of machine-punk: radically minimal, maximally charged. From electricity and voice they forge a frayed liturgy, a mantra of bass impulses mapping the room’s fault lines. Language that stretches the air, kneads it, twists it like clay until a golem rises from the perforated atmosphere.
The infernal duo Fritz Schwarz and Felix Portyra form DAS — driven by Schwarz’s razor-sharp synth programming and Portyra’s lyrical, performative contortions. The beats hit like DAF on an Atari or Hardfloor hammered through old radiators, while the lyrics leave traces of pursuit somewhere between Gabi Delgado, Blixa Bargeld, and Daniel Miller.
