One of the most unforgettable moments from “What Time Leaves Behind: Tea as Artifact · Tea as Memory” at @osagehongkong Osage Gallery was a spontaneous calligraphy exchange with @anothermountainmanstanleywong 又一山人 (Stanley Wong / 黃炳培).
He first took up the brush to write 「入山」 – a towering, minimalist character that feels like walking into the side of a mountain: a few bold strokes opening a path between ink and emptiness, body and landscape. In response, I wrote 「無象」, thinking about form that arises from formlessness, tea steam and mountain mist, and how calligraphy can hover between character, image and pure gesture.
It is a huge honour for me to receive his calligraphy, and to learn from his decades of practice in art, design and Hong Kong visual culture. Standing beside him at the same table – brush, paper and tea between us – is something I will treasure for a long time.

Honoured to be part of “What Time Leaves Behind: Tea as Artifact · Tea as Memory” at @osagehongkong Osage Gallery in Hong Kong, a beautiful exhibition weaving together the Okei Collection of aged Chinese tea, petrified wood and contemporary art.
Had the privilege to write the character 「茶」 in Chinese calligraphy for Dr. Gerhard Zettl, Austrian Consul General in Hong Kong, who graciously attended the event with his wife. It was incredibly special to share tea, ink and conversation with them and all the guests gathered around the table.
Deepest thanks to Agnes Lin and the Osage team for creating such a thoughtful dialogue between tea, time and memory, and for inviting me to contribute as an artist. I am also deeply grateful to my tea buddies Michael Tang and Sam Chan for serving as Tea Masters and guiding everyone through an unforgettable tea‑tasting journey, to Ann Mak for her thoughtful curatorial advisory, and to Rosa Chan for her generous support as advisor and for keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

Big and small things happened, and I know God has His own plan for me. I’m back to studying, meeting new friends, and teaching catechism class. I even tried going ‘Emo’ for a few days—it was pretty interesting to dress up and be out on the streets like that! I’ve also started collecting Labubus to give to my mom. I’m turning 24 next year, my Chinese Zodiac year (the Horse). Looking forward to seeing you all in 2026. May God bless you all!
I want to congratulate @brfranofm Br. Francesco OFM on his Profession of Solemn Vows and express my gratitude for inviting to be part of this ceremony as altar boy, also as the painter for the remembrance card painting. The painting is about the Stigmata of St. Francis of Assisi, accepting the mission of Christ in a humble manner. I wish him the best in @ofm.hk and continuing to serve the people in the love of God.

This is the second graduation ceremony I attended since primary school. But this time is different, I got the achievement I worked for. My parents fully supported my university education and art student life, my sister is a pillar behind it. But most of all, this is just the beginning of my artistic career, aiming to inspire the next generation.
Congratulations to the class of 2024!
It’s a great trip to Rome, I want to thank @bernardo_cervellera_ for showing me around the city and explaining the history behind every historical site. And also @centropime for letting me stay at their house, the food there are amazing and I love participating the morning mass there. I really enjoy going to Vatican City, I was filled with the Holy Spirit when I prayed in those basilicas. Moreover, this trip is a small celebration for my graduation! Thanks Dad and Mom support my studies, I love you always!
I enjoyed the process of the installation and exhibition, the degree show was a great ending for my undergrad studies in fine arts, I have to thank my tutor @tomrcardwell and classmates to make this work. It is a new beginning as a artist, with the knowledge of the West. I’ve so much fun studying in @camberwellual for the past 3 years, I look forward seeing you all in the coming future.
