Mystery Art Orchestra is a band that blends musical realms both in their stylistic and in their temporal objectives. Clearly nurtured by the electronic dynamics of post-punk and cold wave the band’s approach never freezes - by contrast it’s lush, ever evolving and full of colours.
Tino Bogedaly (voice & guitar), André Wlodarski (keys & electronic bass) and Bastian Müller (drums & percussion) form acoustic synergies equally challenging in their technically demanding practice yet comforting with strangely familiar patterns alike.
Ethereal guitar chords frequently hint at strains of romanticism only to be broken up by the steady rhythm of lucid drums, a bold synthesizer and sonorous singing. There is momentum, there is ecstasy, there is depth.
Founded in Brandenburg the band was never drawn to its rural origins albeit inspired by the vast landscapes of the region. Whereas the scene of Berlin also remains a consistent influence on their work, it’s always been the interplay of backgrounds that pathed their way.</p

“White Shape - A reverb soaked experimental heavy psychedelic rock band from Rockford, Illinois. Always there. Always thinking about you.”
For White Shape’s first time in Europe, we are proud to present and specially to put together all these stars in a unique constellation which will be only seen in Berlin on the 25th August 2022 in the unique Passionskirche (To accompany and to guide our microdosing psychedelic experience, White Shape is bringing its own personal Visual Artist “Visible Arn”, who will deliver a unique performance made to go hand in hand with White Shape’s psychedelic set. He will be supported by the great “Dwavehed” with his Optikinetics projections, Oils and Analog Synthesisers.
And like lightning and thunder announce storms coming: @bettydespoina will be presenting an introductory performance. Like a Shaman, she will guide us holding our hands through this journey.
White Shape will be delivering a 1,5 hr Set that will blow our minds away.
The show will be Audio & Visually recorded for “White Shape live at Passionkirche” documentary. Together with @littlecloudrecords we will release a double Gatefold Vinyl with the complete recordings of this show in Spring 2023.
Supporting act from Berlin emerging artist, Marvel (Moor) & the Sweet Sweets. They are 6 multidisciplinary artists based in Berlin, who have been collaborating for the past 10 years in several projects ranging from long experimental feature films - selected and awarded prizes in film festivals around the globe-, a series of live cabaret shows, independent music radio programmes and music production, experimental fashion proposals, folklore research and currently we are uniting forces once again for a music project intended to enhance our individual trajectories and push the boundaries of the sound we collectively revere.
